Utility of Ranking Warehouse Candidates in Workshop Locations Using UTAStar

Abstract

Although the importance of locating in manufacturing and service companies is not a new issue, one of significance applications is to determine the appropriate location for warehouses in manufacturing workshops warehouses to the maintenance of materials or products. In any organizations, Finding the suitable site for warehouses establishments to increase customer service and efficiency is one of the most important and costly issues. The warehouse location is the main decision and structurally multi-criteria that includes quantitative and qualitative objectives. In this study, we apply an MADM technique to achieve the primary ranking for the proposed and potential warehouse locations of the company, and then put them as the input of the UTAStar, which is a new and more practical to inference utility functions from past decision data. We will investigate the utility of the results and define the desirability of ranked options for evaluating and selecting of warehouse space.

Abstract [Persian]

اهمیت مکان­یابی در شرکت­های تولیدی و خدماتی موضوع جدیدی نیست. یکی از مهمترین کاربردهای آن، تعیین مکان مناسب جهت انبارهای کارگاه­های تولیدی به منظور نگهداری از مواد مصرفی یا تولیدات می­باشد. پیدا کردن مکان مناسب جهت استقرار انبارها در راستای افزایش خدمت­رسانی و افزایش کارایی جز معضلات بسیار مهم و پرهزینه هر سازمانی محسوب می­شود. مکان­یابی انبار یک تصمیم مهم و به لحاظ ساختاری چند معیاره است که هدف­های کمی و کیفی را شامل می­شود. در این مطالعه با استفاده از یکی از تکنیک­های تصمیم­گیری چند شاخصه به یک رتبه­بندی اولیه از مکان­های بالقوه و پیشنهادی انبار شرکت مورد مطالعه خواهیم پرداخت و سپس رتبه­های فوق را به عنوان ورودی مدل مطلوبیت تجمعی ستاره که روشی جدید و در عین حال بسیار کاربردی برای استنتاج توابع مطلوبیت از میان داده­های گذشته تصمیم­گیری می­باشد وارد نموده و به مطلوبیت سنجی نتایج خواهیم پرداخت و میزان مطلوبیت گزینه­های رتبه­بندی شده را جهت ارزیابی و انتخاب مکان انبار معرفی خواهد گردید.
